Due to the recent COVID-19 lockdown measures, our office in Katoomba is closed to the public until lockdown restrictions are lifted. Our office will be open by appointment only during this time and only as needed. Please call our Legal & Tenancy Advice Lines for support during this time and stay safe.

Elizabeth Evatt Community Legal Centre is an independent, not for profit community organisation that provides free legal advice and other legal services

COVID-19 is a challenging and rapidly evolving situation that is impacting almost every aspect of our lives. We each have an important role to play to help ‘flatten the curve’ and keep ourselves, our families and our wider communities safe.

While our physical office in Katoomba is open, we are limiting access to the premises to ensure safety. Our phone advice lines continue to operate as usual. Current clients will still have access to their solicitors and tenant advocates through usual means.

In the face of so much change and uncertainty, fighting injustice and defending human rights – particularly the rights of the most vulnerable in our community – becomes more important than ever.

We encourage everyone to be kind to each other during this difficult time.
